Alloy 625 is used for its high strength and outstanding corrosion resistance both in aqueous media and high temperature effects such as oxidation and carburization. Alloy 625 exhibits good resistance to localised attack such as crevice attack and pitting corrosion it also has good resistance to chloride induced stress corrosion cracking. It is also highly fabricable and readily welded. The alloy has a broad spectrum of applications including gaskets and seals, ducting and exhaust systems, bellows and expansion joints and furnace equipment.

A Ni-Cr-Mo- alloy with high strength and oxidation resistance at temperatures at up to 1200ºC. It is highly formable making it suitable for casings and sheet fabrications such as combustors and ducting in gas turbines. It is also used in industrial furnaces and heat-treating equipment.

Alloy L-605 has high strength to 816°C and good oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1093°C. The alloy has good sulfidation resistance and excellent resistance to oxidation. It also has good resistance to wear and galling and finds application in gas turbine rings and blades, combustion chamber components and industrial furnace and heat treatment equipment.

A nickel-cobalt-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum which can achieve high strength through age-hardening. The alloy was designed specifically to combine good high temperature strength properties with excellent formability (in the annealed condition). It has high strength at temperatures up to 816°C and excellent oxidation resistance up to 982°C. The alloy is particularly suited to sheet fabrications and is used in both aircraft turbines and industrial gas turbines for rings, casings, low temperature combustors and transition liners.
