CHANGE IN MANAGEMENT

Uwe Friebertshäuser retires from management after more than 15 years and hands over the baton to our long-time authorised signatory and product manager Oliver Frankenheim.

For more than 15 years, Mr. Uwe Friebertshäuser has been working for S+D METALS as Managing Director. With his extensive knowledge of our materials, applications and markets, as well as with great commercial skills, humanity and his likeable and Rhenish manner, he has contributed significantly to the further development and success of S+D METALS over all these years.
We are very grateful for his great and untiring commitment.
At his own request and planned long in advance, Mr. Friebertshäuser has now left the management as of 31.12.2021 to take on new challenges.
We are all the more pleased that he will continue to make part of his time available to our company and that we will be able to draw on his services in the newly created position of "Senior Business Development Manager". As of 01.01.22, he will fully concentrate on the development of new markets and the optimisation of our product portfolio and will continue to support the management in word and deed.

We are convinced that we have found a suitable successor from our own ranks as Managing Director in Mr. Oliver Frankenheim, our authorised signatory of many years. At the same time, our product manager Mr. Dirk Verhoeven was granted procuration.
Both have not only been working for our company since 2009. They are founding members of the Düsseldorf location, and as product managers they have successfully led our titanium divisions aviation and medical technology to what they are today.

Mr Frankenheim is appointed Managing Director alongside Olaf Schenk and Christian Bibus.
The managing partners of S+D METALS are looking forward to continuing the company's success story together with Oliver Frankenheim.
