2022 Surface Technology Stuttgart NEWS

According to the press release of the trade fair organisers, Surface Technology was very well attended with approx. 6000 visitors and around 220 exhibitors from Germany and abroad, and contrary to our own expectations.

At our S+D METALS stand we welcomed numerous visitors from Germany and other European countries. Very strongly represented among them were the countries Italy, Switzerland, Turkey and the Netherlands. In our experience, the number of trade fair contacts was similar to that of previous years, but with the difference that the quality of the contacts was significantly higher. Visitors and interested parties asked specific questions or looked for special products. The survey by the fair organiser confirms this.

To our delight, many visitors came from the metalworking and processing sector.

The aim of the visitors was to get into personal contact, to get an overview of the market, to look for new products, to find new suppliers and to make new business contacts.

The relief of finally being able to enjoy public life again was clearly noticeable. We have seldom experienced such a relaxed, positive to cordial atmosphere.

As exhibitors, our participation in the fair was a success, which was already reflected in one or two resulting orders afterwards.
